Remarks
This university has many facilities when compared to other university and the study environment at this university is recommended. But the fee structure was not designed properly and the library timings were no appropriate for the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The bachelor in dental surgery is somewhat simpler than other competitive courses like bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery. The exam structure is bifurcated based on the testes in regular classes, internal exams, and presentation with viva included and at the end of the year the final examinations.
Placement Experience
There were some changes in job opportunities with a good pay scale. However, you have to do a year internship at the university itself which was mandatory for all. Also, some institutions and firms came for university placement.
College Events
There were some events where sometimes health camps were organized where fee check-up was carried out so that people can get its benefit and students can learn from it. However, rather than that, some cultural and sports events were organized by the university.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure may be appropriate for all as the last period of paying the fees is before the examinations. Also, the hostel fees are to be paid in advance so it may be a problem for some. However, one can always request the administration by writing to them in person.
Campus Life
At the university, there were some extracurricular activities for all the students like sports, cultural events where students can show their talents in solo or group performance. Some festivals are also celebrated at the main campus itself.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities were appropriate for students as several facilities were given to the students with fresh food at the mess. However, the facilities charged a good amount of money which required an advance payment also. It was not appropriate for some students.
Alumni/Alumna
The network from alumni was not that good as once they pass out from the university, they are much busy in their internship and job opportunities. However, there was quite a god contact with the senior students as they were much helpful.
Admission
The entrance exam NEET-UG is required with a minimum score of 134 and 50% minimum in the 12th standard. The admission process is online and you have to provide all the details with your appropriate scores and mark-sheets.
Faculty
The faculty at the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Science is quite helpful and supportive. However, they were much busy, and there no doubt solving session in the university timings. However, you have to set an appointment to contact the faculties for any issue.
