IIIT is the institute of national importance

The institute is an open field for students like me to grow and widen their thinking process. Liberty of expression, extension of divergent ideas, and the effortless connections with faculty members is what this place has given me so far.

I'm pursuing a degree in B.Tech Information Technology where the syllabus covers various subjects in addition to advancing knowledge regarding updated technologies, evolving theories, web programs and basic understanding of the IT department.

A good share of students approximately 82% of the batch was offered astonishing placement in diverse companies. The competition is surely resilient but so is the package of companies which visit for placement drives. Recently, a new record was made by an annual package of INR 40.63 Lakh.

International day of Yoga is one such event that is taken absolute care of. Excessive work load and never ending researches often hamper mental health of the student; to avoid such critical situations yoga and meditation are highly operative.

For me, it worked out as a feasible fee structure. Tuition fee remains constant throughout and the additional charges for maintenance of facilities sums up to everything within 63k per semester. Though registration and one time investment are made in the first semester only.

I was pleasantly granted scholarship for OBC category background. Merit based scholarships are granted too for students attaining outstanding brilliancy in academics. Further adding to the the first-rate treatment, institute level loan is offered too.

Labs are assigned to each department with boosted equipment and upto date teaching methods. Regular seminars and alumni meetings are organised frequently, no wonder they excel in academics. I feel sports and other activities are areas that require attention.

Since we spend the maximum time together in the campus, the senior students pass on their wise advice, a result of the past experience. I feel proud to say that the alumni network is impressively strong in my institute.

The application process takes place online via the authorized specific platform 'Joint Seat Allocation Authority' which regulates the seat allocation strictly based on JEE-Mains ranking, and later documents verification rolls in.

Exceptionally smart professors with adequate guest faculty work for the betterment of the young generation in a coordinating manner. An interactive environment is created as an ice-breaker for students to put forward their ideologies effectively.
