There were complete absence of various qualities like leadership skills, communication etc in my personality which surfaced during my stay at the college.

I took IIT JEE in 2006 and scored marks in the range of 190-200 (exact I don't remember). My JEE rank was 3601 and was getting Economics at IITK some courses at IITR and all the courses at ISM Dhanbad. My close friend who was having a business of construction suggested me to take Civil Engineering that motivated me to act accordingly.I was having an impression that MSc (Eco) course at IITK was not good which later proved out to be false.

Course curriculum is the best one in the country and there are lot of options available to take courses from various departments of BHU which is not available in any of the IITs.

All the PSU for example IOCL/NTPC and various other came for Civil core and there were also options of going to software and consulting companies.The package was ranging from 3.2 LPA to 8.5 LPA of my batch.

The events celebrated in the campus presented a great set of opportunities to me. During my second year, I was not able to talk properly and simply witnessed events but when I came to forth year, was able to confidently carry out all the exercises of the events which made me realize that even if you don't participate in the events personaly, It adds as lot of value to your personality.

At my time the fee was 13910 per semester and mess bill was in the range of 1500-2000 per month. There was not hostel fee.It's one of the cheapest of its level colleges.Loans are easily available for the people looking for it.

There are student loan by bank located inside the campus. There are several outside and alumni scholarships available. In addition to this there are various scholarships which are for particular group of people like from particular state or from particular caste also available .

The gender ration was 1:10 in the campus and the parties were celebrated in best possible hotel in Varanasi (usually five star). There was a no of pool parties as well.There was no discrimination n the basis of sex, religion, race or ethnicity, politics or economic status.

Alumni network is extremely helpful. We have alumni at all the best places of the word so getting a first hand information about any good place was just an email away from us.

In each course, there are two test followed by an end semester examination.Examination is conducted in a very strict manner and all the copies are properly graded.

The faculty of the college are at par with the other IIT. They act as a friend motivator and guide wherever it's required.I made some of faculty my good friend and my problem solver.
