Memories of Devkunvar Nanalal Bhatt

The duration of the course was 2 years. I became familiar with the big premises, library, laboratories with adequate equipments and faculty of the college is last 3 years. So I just enjoyed my this 2 years here. No doubt, I also studied hard and passed all the examinations conducted by the college every semester.

Placement and job opportunities were best. As the college provided skilled education different companies first prefer our college for placement drive. Companies came every year here like wipro, tcs and picked up talented students. Almost 90% students from our batch placed in reputed companies.

As it was masters, fees structure was quite high but less as compared to other colleges. The college charges around 10-11 k fees per year which was too feasible as compared to other colleges in Chennai. Along with this, different scholarships were available for talented students.

Extracurricular activities were the soul of the college. All technical or non technical activities conducted enthusiastically by the college faculty. Speech competitions, quizzes, seminars and guest lectures were arranged frequently by the college. Also sports week was also conducted by the college once in a year.

Our seniors were the best seniors. They were supportive, caring and helpful. They were our friends or just like big sisters. They always helped us in every condition and took care of us like our siblings.

I completed my B. Sc in Shrimathi Devkunvar Nanalal Bhatt Vaishnav College for Women (Evening). I want to pursue masters in science. Hence U decided to take admission here again as it was one of the best college for masters in our chennai. Admission process depends upon the merit. I got A grade in my B. Sc hence I got admission here easily for my masters.

The faculty of the college was just like our parents. As it was women college, all the faculty was ladies and they were too caring definitely, sometimes they became strict too. But they helped us a lot in every problem and took care of us.
