Course Curriculum Overview
Students are prepared for a career in the hospitality industry through a foundation in the hospitality & tourism industry. Module activities will include lectures, presentations, field visits, seminars, wine tasting sessions and training events related to the development of food & beverage operations knowledge and skills. It also covers the safety & security aspects of hotel operations. Module activities will include field visits, presentations, live demonstrations as well as experiential work.
Placement Experience
The students got a great opportunity to intern with some of the best companies such as Taj, Marriott, Hyatt, Accor, and many more. By looking at the statistics of the placement, about 99% of the students were placed last year. Graduating from IHM-A gives us the advantage to be ahead of our counterpart interns while training on the job.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure depends on the curriculum the student decides according to their wishes. Fees structure for courses in this institution is very feasible, also college offers scholarship on the basis of merit and rank in entrance examination.
Campus Life
Community outreach, music and dance concert, outdoor catering activities, etc., act as rejuvenating activities within the academic curriculum. They have events like Freshers Party and celebrated festivals like Christmas, Sankranti, Lodhi, Ganesh Chaturti, and Holi etc. They organize many events and fests which were also a part of our curriculum.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are very comfortable. They are double and triple sharing with hygienic bathrooms and toilets. The hostel has a garden and provision for games. It also has a gym which functions well. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods are available.
Alumni/Alumna
The Alumni provide assistance to students find part time jobs and help in recruiting students in renowned companies. Both Alumni and senior students are helpful to the juniors. This alumni forum is always very active and supportive to the college. It provides all forms of help to students who are in need.
Admission
The candidate receives an official email from the Dean or a phone call from the Institute?s Admission Office based on the collective performance in the Online Profiling Test, Statement of Purpose, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The candidate can see a merit list on the Admissions website to get admission in the college.
Faculty
Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad offers academics along with the job training during their session. Talking about the faculty, they constitute a group of highly experienced and skilled professionals. They aim at developing future hoteliers by not just training them but as well as making them think and innovate out of the box.
