The MA/MSc/MCom/MCJ degree Programme shall of two years duration and be divided into two modules. It is previous and final examinations for which shall be held yearly. Each paper in the previous and final will carry the necessary Credits prescribed as per syllabus for each subject.

Every year, almost 60%-70% of students get admission in big companies. The salary offered to students pursuing a PhD degree is good. But, holding a master?s certificate from Gauhati University has a great value and good job placement.

There is so many events in our college. Such as college week, annually sport,annual function and game activities like cricket football etc and the social work. And many programs celebrated in our college.We enjoy each and every moment celebrated there.

The fees structure of IDOL is 14000 rs per annum which you have to pay at the time of admission form. If in case if you want to pay in installments then it will be divided In 2 installments of 7000 & 7000 rs.

There is no scholarship facility for the meritorious students. But yes, students can avail for education loan from the banks. Even the college campus has a bank of its own and can be contacted by students if required. There are a number of scholarship facilities for minorities (SCs, STs etc. The college also support study loan from various bank if the students is ready to take a study loan.

There was many extracurricular activities labs sport etc. They are very good because sport facilities are available for students with labs and computer accessories. The superiority of labs and classrooms is very good, and they are well organize.

The University offers excellent living accommodation within the campus, separately for boys and Girls Hostel. The fee is 2000 rs per semester for General students. There are more than 15 hostels of capacity of approx 300 persons.

Under IDOL division, Guwahati University offers 4 under graduate programs which are BCA, B.Sc., BA (General) and B. Com. (General) in three areas Economics, Mathematics and IT. The minimum eligibility for BCA and B.Sc. IT student is, that must have passed Class 12th or must have done a 3 year Polytechnic Diploma program. The documents required for Spot Admission should be Mark sheets of the previous examinations (both original as well as self - attested copies) with GU Registration certificate (only for GU graduates) and with 2 passport size photographs (3 cm x 3.5 cm size).

The faculty is very friendly and teaching methods for the theory subjects are very beneficial to us. We understand each and every small thing in practical, and they also teach if something is not available in books. Teachers try every bit to make the thing available through the internet or by other systems. The course curriculum is helpful. As overall, the course was helpful to us.
