It's a good institution for research purposes and also can get hands on experiences about the field. A lot of scope to learn, grow, built up knowledge, explore various options in this field and satisfaction in what is done.
Course Curriculum Overview
This course lasts for three years during which there are six semesters. The schedule is very hectic as a lot of portion is included in the syllabus. Moreover, extra reading and research is also there. Practicals go on for 4 to 5 hours straight.
Placement Experience
There is no placement wing in the institute but one can opt for internship program in the final year. Usually venturing out to locate a suitable job also helps in great ways. There is a lot of scope in this field due to it's rarity.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees continue to fluctuate in this course. It can go upto 70,000 rupees or 80,000 rupees. There can be a fee waiver for those who are financially week and can't afford so much of fees. Exceptions are made for this.
Campus Life
Mostly at this place more of knowledge based workshops, seminars, conferences and discussions with the experienced people takes place. However, fun and games like farewell and freshers parties, festival celebrations also take place.
Admission
For admission to this course one has to complete DNB/MD Paediatrics first. There are only two seats available for this course. An entrance test is the main criteria which is arranged by the institution itself. Based on the cutoff and marks admissions are given.
Faculty
An excellent bunch of people who work with tremendous amount of energy. They manage lectures and the hospital work as well. They pre plan everything and act accordingly. They are helpful and motivate us all the time.
