Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is fixed as 12 months for Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry; 18 months as Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology and Forensic Medicine: 12 months as Community Medicine, ENT and Ophthalmology and finally 12 months as Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery and OBG.
Placement Experience
Since the Institute offers five years full time under graduate course of MBBS and Post Graduate programmes in different fields of Medical and offers three years full time course of Doctor of Medicine with special focus in Pediatrics, Radio-diagnosis, Anesthesiology and Community Medicine the candidates easily get placement in any hospital.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee varies according to the course taken. For Diploma in Medical INR 30,000 p.a, Doctorate of Medicine and Master of Surgery INR 75,000 p.a and for MBBS INR 1,00,000 p.a is charged. The fee is feasible compared to other colleges.
Campus Life
The college conducts awareness on Social responsibilities, Christmas, New Year Celebrations, Kannada Rajyotsava Celebration, Mega Free Health Camp like world Cancer Day, Voluntary Blood Donation Camp etc.
Hostel Facilities
Separate Hostels for Boys & Girls are provided in AIMS Campus at BG Nagara. Post Graduate Hostel for Men and Women is situated in the College Campus adjoining to the Teaching Hospital. It is the walkable distance between the College and Hospital.
Alumni/Alumna
The primary objective of AIMS Alumni Association is to establish contact among the old students and meet periodically. The alumni also help the Association and the Institution in many ways. The Alumni Association is the best platform for the students who have passed out of the college and have settled in different parts of India and abroad to come together to share their ideas and thoughts with each other.
Admission
The candidate should submit the original certificates and 2 sets of photocopies of Neet Rank card, 10th and 12th marks card, Transfer Certificate, Caste Certificate and along with that Rural Service Bond on INR 100/e-stamp paper and 5 photos to the college at the time of admission. Once selected, they will contact the candidate to pay fees.
Faculty
There is a good exposure given to students in this college in respect to instruments used and the techniques followed. The faculty is having good understanding with the candidates and supporting them in all manners. The college provides Seminars by the experts from outside. Immediate responses are given by the faculty.
