Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum for the Master's programs is very vast. You need to have a minimum of 75% attendance in lectures, lab work and field work for each paper. The exam itself has internal(20%) and external(80%) examinations.

Placement Experience

The college offers internships and placements within private and public entities such as major museums and other research institutes in India. The college also offers the Swach Bharat Summer Internship.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college's fee structure is very cheap. The fees for the students within maharshtra universities is Rs. 7,150 and for those outside Maharashtra is Rs. 8000 per academic year. This includes Exam fee, lab fee etc.

Campus Life

Sports like Basketball, Tennis, Badminton, etc are played and the college has good courts for these various sports. The college also has a great canteen and other facilities. There are some good clubs in the campus which eagerly accept members.

Admission

The documents you require at the time of admission are Migration certificate, Mark-lists, Passing certificates, character certificates, and proof of DOB. The process is done online. Admission is secured on the basis of merit in last exam.

Faculty

The professors and other faculty members of the Deccan College Post Graduate and Research Institute are very excellent and they use a variety of methods to take lectures. They carry out discussions and are very enthusiastic about student participation.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES
