Course Curriculum Overview

The lesson curriculum of the BA in English literature is designed to enhance the writing skills of the students so our teacher gives detailed lectures on the technique to write excellent essays and letters. Also, there are interesting books that are selected by the faculty to research different aspects of English.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee of the university is as per the other university which offers the course of bachelors in arts of English literature. All of the students can avail of education at our university because the fee is really low.

Campus Life

The basic incidents which are available for the students to participate in our university are seminar and workshop, College day celebration, founders day celebration. Also, the implementation of blood donation centers happened recently. Fine arts festival and also Vivekananda day celebration was there. Sports activities are also available in our college for the participation of the women.

Admission

In the university, you will find a diversity of departments that are available for all of the women. The department includes history, economics, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Sanskrit, French, English, mathematics, physics, chemistry, etc. Overall the college has a number of lessons for all of the women and also the importance of education is very high.

Faculty

The general of the English department is doctor Usha who is a Ph.D. in the subject. The head of the department always helps us to get comfortable with different aspects of the university. Also, assistant professor like Dr. Priya, Ms. AkhilaDevi, and also Ms. Jhansi Rani ma'am makes the overall environment of the English department extremely enjoyable.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

GOOD PLACEMENT RECORD

Admission:

I got 1150 out of 1200 in my 12th grade. 199 out of my cut off mark 200 for merit.Application for Engineering and Medical Counseling. Selected in both. But I prefer M.B.B.S than aeronautical engineering. I went to counseling in Chennai and then chose Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital in Tamil Nadu.

So for the MCA course i have applied for TANCENT counselling in that counselling i have applied for 15 college in my priority order. I got 88% in counselling but i got this college. This college was my 15 th college in my list. Even though i asked other college but the next day also the same college has been alloted for me. So by no chance i approved. And went for the admission process. Meenakshi College- My review

The College faculty is expert in forcing the students to participate in certain certificate courses without taking care of the students's interest in that particular course by mentioning the course as compulsory even if it is not. The college seized the mobile phone of many students in first year thinking that the students are misusing, which i carried for a valid reason with class teacher's permission and they did not return my mobile phone till now in spite of apologizing many times through letters and also my parents went to the college for explaining the reason for carrying the mobile to the college and now it's been three years that the college seized the mobile phones of the students and did not return it till now....Read More
