Entrance Preview

CLAT ( 15000 Rakl all india ), IPUCET ( 6000 rank all india ), SYMBIOSIS ENTRANCE TEST ( SET) ( 87 score ). I opted for upes because it nurtures co curricular activities apart from academics as well, providing options at all levels and various competitions .

Internships Opportunities

The college offers internship only after we cross 2nd year and enter our 3rd year or 6th semester as some particular knowledge is required before hand in order to excel in practical knowledge regarding the course .

Placement Experience

Average placement of the college amounts to be 3.5 lakh p.a to 4 lakh, and the placement and internship is quite good with good linkage with top firms and ngos, providing good opportunities and placements for the same .

College Events

College has many festivals and events and some of them are uurja. Which is the biggest one which includes events like dance competitions and war of bands etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is on the upper side being a private university and the course fee amounts to 85-90 thousand per semester .Which keeps on increasing and the hostel feebeing 100000 for one year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facilities are offered by those who are in need and apply for the same and scholarships are offered to the local students of uttarakhand .Who have bonafide certificates and scholarships upto 25% are availed by these local students whose family income is less then 3 lakh p.a .

Alumni/Alumna

This is a anti ragging college and strict action is taken against those who indulge in it . Seniors are very polite and help the juniors for their competitions and assignments .

Exam Structure

Exams are a lot hectic in this college as no holidays / preparatory leaves are provided to study and students are at a pressure and get motivated to study well in advance . And good high level papers are made to test the students.

The review from heart

Placement Experience:

The college provides a great scope for campus placement this was one of the main reason I took admission here.Form the second last semester the students become eligible to sit for the placement exams.The college have ties with many big companies and MNCS which provides the opportunity for campus placement. The written exam is conducted in the college campus only and the selected students are called for the interview. The main companies that visit Graphic Era Hill University are - 1:TCS 2: Infosys 3: Adobe 4: Google 5: Microsoft The highest package of the college in previous batch was 50 lakhs per annum and the average package was 6 lakhs per annum.Tough the college does not guarantee 100 percent placement but most of the students get campus placement the percentage would be around 80% . My plans after completing my degree is to get a job as a financial assistant and gain some experience and then pursue MBA .

Designing dreams in graphic Era

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities for b.com honours are decent,only few students get placed, Around 40 to 50% of students in last batch got placed. The average package offered ranges between 2 to 3 lpa while some students with better skills secured a better package. Companies like TCS,Deloitte,Infosys is very active in campus placement but you should not be concerned about placements if you are doing BCom focus on your skills and you will secure a good package or focus on masters then after you can expect a good package

campus placements are limited . tudents usually become eligible from 5th to 6th semester, but very few big companies visit for core commerce roles. some students get placed in smal firms with decent starting salaries.

Because my brother told me to do this course. Faculty is there and everything is there as per their knowledge. Student Ration 54:6. Qualification is higher and she has done a Ph.D. Teaching teachers are mind-blowing. Term exams are accurate and on time. what is difficult, if you study, it will not be difficult.

Remarks:

Positive remarks is good fees structure and provide scholarship for poor students and the negative remark is the building of that college is very old and messy. It should be renovated. And providing a good canteen also.

No safety nets for getting admission in UPES as university is strict in taking students. UPES Engineering Admission Test also known as UPESAT has to be cleared. UPES has the best facilities!

Admission are through an entrance for engineering which is called UPESAT. The best thing is the paper can be given anytime as it's online and if students want they can directly come to the university and then give that exam.
