Course Curriculum Overview
ISH is one of the top hospitality institutes in India. The course curriculum followed for the culinary programme includes both theory and practical experience in the field. Apart from culinary knowledge we were also taught business communication, tourism and personality development.
Placement Experience
The college has a network of connection with top hotels and restaurants. Hence we were given good exposure and experience even through our course. The placements are great in the college and many good hotels offered us jobs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is quite high and cannot easily be afforded by everyone. The fee is 5,50,000 inr for each year of the course. The total fee is 22,00,000 inr for the four year course which is very expensive. But culinary field requires advanced skillset and extensive training and hence the expensive fee is justified as even the career in this field offers high paying jobs.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are several scholarships available for the students for early entrance, Non-Indian applicants, applicants with army background, meritorious basis. The college also pushes educational loans through HDFC bank with zero collateral security and low interest rates.
Campus Life
Our college had great events that were conducted on a large scale. These events gave us good practical knowledge. The college had a very friendly environment and professionalism which was very good.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel fee is 1,50,000 rupees including all the amenities. Separate hostels are available for boys and girls. The hostels are well equipped with great amenities that cater to all the needs of the students. The mess food is also extremely good and hygienic.
Admission
The basic criteria for admission requires the applicant to have at least 40% of the grade in 12th with english as primary language. I had applied to this college after my 12th and was called for an interview and group discussion. Based on which admission was granted.
Faculty
The college is equipped with diverse faculty that provide hands on experience in the field of hospitality and management. We were trained by experts and were also taught the modern concepts and inner workings of the field.
