Remarks
There's nothing negative about the College. The College instills theoretical, practical and Ethical knowledge to the students and does everything to enhance the growth of them. A very calm and supportive environment is offered by the campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good. As it is a Post graduation course, there are a lot of subjects to learn and it's a tight schedule for the students. MS in General Surgery is a 3 year program and thus much dedication is needed. Examinations are held up-to-date and there is no delay.
Placement Experience
As it is a PG course and as it is a medical course, there is a great assurance of job after completion of the course. We're paid which studying, but is a small amount. But still, the experience one gets out of the course is great.
College Events
Along with the academics, college also takes care to explore the talents of the students. There are numerous ways to do so and thus they organise different programs like Culturals and Sports events. Many seminars and workshops too are conducted.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The 3 year Post graduation course is expensive but compared to the experience and opportunity one receives after the course, it is not such a huge amount. It is 30000 per annum. For those who cannot afford the fees, there are loan/scholarship facilities.
Campus Life
Yes the College also perfectly organises a laboratory with all facilities and a proper library that moulds the students. There is no ragging and the number of girls is more than the number of boys. There is an equality among the Gender and no political differences too is there in the campus.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I've opted for hostel and everything is perfect here. We're given much freedom to explore the College life. Hostel is the only solace from the vast, heavy syllabus. Food and other basic requirements are okay.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes there's an alumni network and is working actively for the welfare of the College. The Senior students are very helpful. They provide proper guidance and is willing to share all their notes with us. They're also willing to share all their experiences and to clear all our doubts regarding the syllabus.
Admission
To heal someone's soul is the most glorious thing one could ever do and for that I chose MS in General Surgery as my PG course. Admission to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College is based on the degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate which is recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act. After that an interview was there, organised by the college authorities.
Faculty
I'm so happy about the faculty of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College. They're such a talented bunch of faculty members and are helpful in every step. They are dedicated and is interested in finishing the portions at the correct time.
