Amazing Experience

Everything is very well maintained and well managed. I feel very safe in campus. It is awesome place to learn and unfold yourself.

I too many exam IIT JEE AIR 6100,AIEEE- AIR 4991,BITSAT- 302. I chose IIT Kharagour because it is one of the best colleges in India.

The course curriculum is very well planned. They gradually educate us with different techniques and methods or process employed to design and build a structure throughout the world.

I interned at Philips lighting Innovation Centre in Noida. My batch mates interned at architecture firms located in Bangalore,Mumbai and even Hong Kong and Switzerland. The general stipend offered is between 8000-10000 for architecture students.

Over 200 companies come to campus for placement. The average package is that of 9 lakhs which changes year to year. Last year,100% placement of architecture students took place. Some students also prefer to go for higher studies.

Spring Fest the social cultural fest of our college which is celebrated in January which has participation of colleges throughout the country. Kshitij the techno-management fest of our college which is held in February. Apart from these we also have inter-hall events.

Being a government institute. The fee structure is not as expensive as the private institutes. The fees per semester is 48000 including tuition fees,hostel charges and mess charges.

I dont have much idea. There is an MCM merit cum means scholarship for students who perform well but are from poorer backgrounds.

Campus life is amazing. A student can play any sport he,she wants. join any club or society drama,dance,music,robotics etc. They are very good and get funding from the institute also.

We had 3- sharing rooms in our first year double sharing in our second year and single rooms from our third. The quality of rooms are comfortable with cupboards and mirrors provided. The food in the mess is also good.

IIT Kharagpur has a huge alumni network. In our department we are very close to our seniors. They are always ready to help us when in need. The rapport between seniors and juniors is mindblowing.

Everything here is in moderate amounts be it theoretical studies,practical experiments or non-academic activities. There are two exams in a semester mid sem exams and end sem exams apart from regular class tests.

The faculty is very knowledgeable and talented. They are very helpful and friendly in nature. We never hesitate to approach them for any help we want academic or non-academic.
