Remarks

The college has been able to draw good returns from its alumni network making it easier for the current students to tap the opportunities out there. The college gives its students good exposure and makes them dream big and aspire for higher aims.

Entrance Preview

I took the entrance exam conducted by the college department (Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law). First, there's a written examination consisting of Quantitative Aptitude, Basic Science, English, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation and Essay Writing. After this, there is a GD/PI session for the qualified candidates. The score of the selected students is not declared. Only the list of selected students is put up and they are offered admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum consists of various law subjects along with moot court activities. The students have to study almost all basic law subjects. Also, the students are required to take up an elective subject in a different department to gain inter-disciplinary knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

The TnP cell works very efficiently to get the internhips for the students in several MNCs, law firms nd under advocates. The stipend varies between recruiters. Generally, the stipend offered is around 15-30 thousand per month.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for the college is neither too high nor too low. It costs around Rs. 1,50,000 per year. Also, the amenities provided are up to the mark. Hence, it can be said that the college fee is not very high.

Fees and Financial Aid

Several of the leading banks of the nation provide education loans for the college easily at affordable interest rates. I would recommend State Bank of India for the same as it provides for efficient and easy processing.

5

The college has a very active extar-curricular life. The are various sports like Basketball, football, cricket, squash, swimming, hockey, athletics, volleyball which also have high amount of competition. Also, there are inter-hostel and Inter-IIT events wherein students compete.

The hostel provided to the students is very well maintained. All the LLB students are provided single rooms with common bathrooms. The mess food is surely an negative point for the college. But that varies from contractor to contractor and is tried to be maintained.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen B.A.LLB(Hons.) because I want to have knowledge of law because laws form the basis of society. Moreover, I had an Arts Background therefore, it was a good combination for me to explore and go according to my desired path of career. The count of faculty members of IILS is an approximation of 20-30 teachers and the students each semester is near about 70-100. The teachers are truly well versed in their respective subjects and they're immensely knowledgeable and friendly, they try hard to make us understand in the easiest manner. But the only problem is that the faculties are not permanent, it keeps on changing. The term examinations were always on time except for the lockdown time but this was also managed smoothly within time. In order to know the difficulties I would share a fact and i.e., when I took admission in my Institute there was a total number of 140 students in my semester but no sooner than the first exam held half of them failed and now we're 70 of us.
