Course Curriculum Overview
It is a 4 years course, and has the updated syllabus for each subject. The course is well designed to make the students understand in-dept about their respective fields. Exams are held regularly and if you don't study properly then you may get poor marks or sometimes fail.
Placement Experience
Currently, there is no on-campus placement system. And to be honest, hardly any college provides placement for the BSc graduates. But you need not worry, you can find plethora of job opportunities in the market. And, you would get to do an internship along with a lump sum stipend.
Fee Structure And Facilities
If you are getting admission after qualifying the entrance test then you have to a pay a sum of ?26,376 per year. The total amount for the entire course would be approximately ?1.06 lacs. The hostel fee is charged separately, so if you opt for hostel then you would have to pay an extra of ?60,000 per year (approx.).
Campus Life
You will get numerous opportunities to participate in, besides academics. Sport facilities are provided inside the college campus, one can play football, badminton, cricket, etc. There are sports tournaments, skits and drama competitions, cultural events, etc. held every year.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are very helpful and behave well with the juniors. You will never be scared of talking to them. Whenever you need some guidance or advice, you can look up to them. You can also take guidance in your studies from them.
Admission
For both BSc and BSc Hons., you will have to qualify the entrance test conducted by the CSKHPKV. After qualifying the entrances test, merit list(s) will be issued and accordingly you will get admission into the college. The minimum marks required in your 10+2 is 50%. But the subjects to be taken into consideration for calculating the aggregate marks change according to the subjects you opt for in BSc. English remains as one of the core subjects for all the courses.
Faculty
The teachers are highly qualified and are very much dedicated towards their profession. They teach the students well and explain things clearly so that everyone can understand easily. If you get any doubts or something is unclear to you while in the class, you can always ask them to repeat things.
