The course curriculum focusses on skill development required to work in the corporate field. The course curriculum was an amalgamation of theory and practical work. The course was divided into 6 semesters and we had to appear for exams at the end of every semester.

The placement opportunities are there but not for all departments. This is the only parameter on which the college needs to pay attention. The placements opportunities are for management courses. Companies like Airtel and reliance came for recruitment.

Extracurricular activities are given as much importance as studies. There is a fixed sports budget with which modern sports equipment are purchased every year. Sports like cricket, basketball and table tennis are played here. Several campaigns on social issues like polio vaccination, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao are also organised. There is an NSS unit of our college which organises competitions like street plays.

The fee is very nominal as compared to other institutions where the same course is offered. The fee for my course is around 15,000 rupees per year which have to be paid for 3 years. The amount is meagre and is affordable for everyone.

Some good scholarships are there for the students of reserved categories. Their entire fee is waived off. But the scholarships are only for the high rankers and intelligent students. The guidelines keep changing from time to time. The scholarship form is made available to the students by notifying the heads of the concerned departments.

The infrastructure of our college is well built and maintained. The classrooms are spacious and well furnished. There are a number of labs where students can conduct their practicals. There is a well-kept sports ground as well. Sports facilities are for both boys and girls.

The eligibility criteria for applying for MCA course at Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University (CRSU) is that you have to score at least 50 per cent marks in computer applications in Bachelor's degree. If you scored less than 50 per cent then it is mandatory that you must have studied maths as a compulsory subject either in class 12th or during graduation. After that, you have to fill an application form with all the relevant details and submit it along with 500 rupees.

The faculty of our college is well trained and they have helped us a lot in polishing our skills and finding out our hidden talents as well. They guided us at each and every step. The lectures were not at all boring. The teachers were friendly and cooperative.
