My course review

Yes, my course was very interesting and students who completed this course they could work as a banker, investor and economist. The course included important topics like Theory of Pricing and Distribution, International Finance, Issues in the Indian Economy, Economics of Growth, Selected Problems of the Indian Economy, Labour Economics, Financial Institutions and Markets.

My college had a placement cell which took care of the placement for the students. We had a 100% placement record every year. companies like NALCO Corporate office, PPL Corporate Office, Rourkela Steel Plant, SAIL, Bokaro Steel City, OglvyMathur Pvt. Ltd, Reliance Infocom, Tata-TIG Company, SBI-Life, Vinay Construction Company, ODA and Gram Swaraj (NGOs) and many more came to offer jobs and internship programmes.

My fees were affordable and feasible because I paid Approx INR 3320 for one year. also, my college provided scholarships such as scholarships awarded by the State Government, P.G. Merit Scholarship and Loan Stipend by the State Government. The students could opt the scholarship according to the reserved category. I could say that the fees were very less as per the course.

My college had a Sports and games Council, who organised competitions and tournament like Volleyball, cricket, football, Kho-kho, basketball, tennis and many more. My university had a gym facility with equipment like Crazy-fit machine, Cycling, weight plates, Multi-Gym, Trade-Mills and all modern accessories with a gym trainer. My college had a central library which is having more than 51000 text, 85 journals and 24 magazines. There was Grievance Cell, anti-ragging cell, student cell and women cell for the safety and complaints. The mess facility was very good.

I got admission after completing My B.A. The admission procedure was entrance based. after qualifying for the course. The admission team asked me to produce documents like mark sheets, caste certificate, certificates of all examinations and Character certificate from previous institutions. After paying the admission fee my admission got confirmed and my seat got reserved.

Dr Jagannath Lenka, who was the HOD of our department and my favourite teacher in the college. he was a very nice and kind person. The faculty was well trained and had a vast experience in their subject. we had the dedicated and hardworking faculty in the college. They always helped us whatever Doubts we have in our course.
