Remarks

The campus of college is very nice with required amenities like good infrastructure, class room facility, very professional faculty, good lab facilities, hostel facility, canteen facility, Play ground facility, Beautiful campus with lot of gardening.Very strong management.

Entrance Preview

JEE I was interested for studying Engineering so appeared JEE and did Electronics & Telecommunications course .

Course Curriculum Overview

It was good & well covered about all the subject. Details mentioned year and semester wise. Practical, course completion, exam schedule were mentioned, so that student gets enough time to prepare properly .

Internships Opportunities

Scholarship was not sponsored by any company. So no stipend received during the study at College. But college was arranged summer training from different college.

Placement Experience

4.5

Total 500 students got placement in different companies came. The placement was good Infosys - 4 Lac Annum, Satyam- 3.6 Lac Annum, Wipro - 3.6 Lac Annum, Ortel - 2.5 Lac Annum .

College Events

Cultural Programs celebrated at Cuttack Ravindra Bhawan Also inside the college auditorium. The celebration were very big & around 2000 students were part of this celebration .

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure were genuine It was not too much expensive.The total course fee was 2 lakh for entire four year.The exam fee was 2700 per semester for form submission.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes Andhra Bank was tie up with college for loan facility. No I have not taken any loan.No schariship sponsored by college during our period, but it was not required.Some students has taken the loan from the bank got tie up.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities were good 2 persons sharing per room The rental was only 50K per annum.The food facility was goodOther facilities like indoor & outdoor games.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

The exam & labs schedules were good and enjoyable with very cooperative faculty. The best part of it was the computer labs assisted by IT professionals giving guidance in various software courses.

Faculty

Faculty were well experienced & very much professional .Faculty do give extra time to clear the doubts apart from regular classes. There was good student & teachers relationship .

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

First reason was that it was cheaper in fee as compared to other colleges at that time but now they have increased the fee also later stage I realised that I did mistake choosing this college over the available options like silicon institute of technology,cv Raman University and SOA around similar fee structure with better facilities and placement stats.
