Master of Arts [MA] [Islamic Studies]

The syllabus was a completely enhanced one of the one which I completed in bachelors' degree. However, we have a class test, relevant viva to the practicals, and later on, at the end of the term, we have exams based on which report card is made.

At the Darul Huda Islamic University, the students had few internships and job opportunities as the institute was still in the mere process to develop the campus placement opportunities. However, students in my class managed to get a decent job as we all completed the master's program based on which some private organizations hired on a probation period.

As per my sole perspective for the fee structure of this particular college, I felt the fee structure appropriate based on the services and facilities the university gave. The structure was bifurcated for the student's ease to pay the fees on time.

Once I approached the university admission department getting details of the scholarship and educational loan opportunities. I came to know about few scholarships shall be implemented and will be given based on the merit rank. However, they gave much knowledge to avail of the educational loans.

The college had good facilities for computer labs and a large library with almost every book of the curriculum we had. Also, apart from the curriculum, we enjoyed several physical activities like sports day every weekend, and also the yoga day at the campus. Mostly, students were from Islam religion only.

I had a good interaction with my classmates and sometimes the juniors during events. Also, I had some senior contact during the campus activities and religious programs at the university. But, I did not fount any alumni contact during my curriculum studies.

I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree from one of the affiliated colleges in Islamic Studies and later on decided to do a Masters course so I applied at DHIU from an offline platform for the same stream. I was followed for the university level counseling process after the selection and evaluation were over.

We had much experienced Vice-Chancellor Porf.Dr. Bahauddeen Muhammed Jamaludeen Nadwi and several qualified lecturers who took our classroom lectures and conducted relevant lab seminars included in the curriculum.
