Course Curriculum Overview
The course is actually designed in a way that is a combination of a one-year diploma and a two-year advanced diploma. The subject combination was such that it would be helpful in the industrial sphere later. The topics were interesting and they helped me learn a lot.
Placement Experience
The placement cell helped prepare for job interviews with workshops on topics such as interview techniques, group discussion preparations, personality development. A lot of firms came for placement, such as ACC Concrete, L&T (EC Division), Petron Engg, Maccaffe Limited, L&T (ECCD), ITD Cementation, DMRC, Llyod Insulation, Simplex Limited, Fenesta Ltd.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The cost is not too high. The first year fees is 28,000 rupees. and the fees for the second and third years is 25,000 rupees each. It is rather affordable for the general public, and they also provide good value for the amount, so it is feasible.
Campus Life
A number of workshops were held, on a number of different topics like enterprenuership, CAD and investment awareness. The college has wi-fi connection, library, gym, sports activities, NCC and so on. The college also has a connection to ISRO's EDUSAT, which allows IP based teaching
Admission
The admission process is through the CET Delhi examination. After that examination, I applied here in the B.Voc. course. I selected the construction technology stream based on my interests and I took admission.
Faculty
The faculty members helped me understand the topics, imbibe the applications and become well-versed in everything. They were, in fact, very helpful in doing well during the course. The advice I got from them was useful during and after the course.
