I am a diploma passout and got admission to second year mechanical engineering.I had scored 80 percentage in my final year diploma.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriulum laid out by the mumbai university is good. It benifits the students after they have completed their engineeering. Various concepts that were taught comes in useful at many times when facing unique challlenges.
Internships Opportunities
There wer no internship in our college. The general stipend offered is approximately 3-5 lakhs per annum. Internship programmes offer insight into how the agency works and an opportunity to be part of innovation and technology, as well as gain hands-on experience while networking with othe professionals.
Placement Experience
The palcements and job opportunities are kinda dull.There arent many job oppourtunities asof now as the market is down for mechanical engineers.Other branches i cant comment much as i dont have much knowledge about them.
College Events
Many cultural events and other fests are cnducted in the college. Students take active participation in all of the events. The college has its own ground where various sports are held.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are scholarship available for students who get 755 and above marks.There are also scholarships for OBC students.
Campus Life
The campus life is good at PIIT rasayani.The labs are also good.There are adequate machinery for the students.There are also enough computer labs for every departmens.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni networks do more than help they become a professional and personal community to aid graduates in advancement throughout the course of their lives.
Exam Structure
In total we have three exams every semester. Two unit tests of twenty marks each and a university exam of 80 marks .The labs and exams were frequent. The students were not burdened with anything.
Faculty
Knowledgeable faculty with most of them having done their PhD. And masters. We can approach them at any time during college hours and they are always ready to help us. Special batches are also conducted for students if they have any doubts in any subjects.
