Remarks
College is good and all necessary facilities are also provided to the students. The faculty is very well trained and the pedagogy is well crafted. The college still has a long way to go and has a lot of development to do yet.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is a 2 year program and is a specialization course. The college offers specialization in 4 streams, Cardio-Pulmonary Physiotherapy, Musculoskeletal, Neurology, and Sports Therapy. The student can pick one of the streams to specialize in.
Placement Experience
The college provides an internship to the students with a stipend of Rs.15,000 a month. After graduation, the students can start practicing as doctors or apply for posts of Junior Researchers for a salary of Rs.60,000 or so.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The annual fee for the MPT specialization course is ?2.58 lakh per year. The fee includes the tuition fee, training fee, miscellaneous fee, etc. The exam fee and the hostel fee, if opted for hostel, has to be paid separately .
Campus Life
Every year, the college sets up extracurricular activities such as sports competitions, debate competitions, script writing competition, plays etc. The college has cultural fests too. The infrastructure including the labs and the library are very good.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are quite good. The food served in the mess is edible and nutritious. The rooms are double occupancy and have air conditioning in all rooms. The management has also provided a lift in the hostel building.
Admission
To be eligible to get into the MPT course, the candidate has to have minimum 50%in BPT from a recognized board or university with mandatory 6 months internship. The admission is on the basis of entrance test.
Faculty
Faculty members are very good and chosen very articulately. All faculty members are well trained and have experience of teaching in reputed colleges. The practicing doctors are a part of our faculty ad teach us too.
