I took CAT 2009 and secured 91%ile. The reason why i chose this institute is because of a brand name of IMT associated with it plus i researched extensively on course curriculum and i found it to be a comprehensive one.

There are many companies that comes for summer internships and they do offer PPOs as well. Some of them are like Asian Paints, Bajaj Finance, Airtel, Private sector banks, KPMG, EXIDE etc. General stipend amount is between Rs. 10000-20000/-.

The campus offer almost 100% placement though few do opt out of the placement process. During the batch of 2011 and 2012, there was a reduction in the overall placements, but after that, there has been a continuous upward trend of placements with batch of 2015 securing 100% placements. Major recruiters are Asian Paints- Offers between 10-12.00 lacs p.a Verity Knowledge Solutions - 8.00-10.00 lacs p.a.TCS- 7.00-9.5 Lacs p.a. Pvt sector banks - 4.00 - 5.00 lacs p.a. ICICI bank offered between 6-8 lacs Capital IQ- 5.00 Lacs p.a. Deloitte, KPMG- 7-9.00 lacs p.a. ITC Hotels- 5-6.00 lacs p.a.

Milestone 35 is the biggest event of the Institute in which students participate from across the country including students from all IIMs, FMS, XLRI, SIBM, SCMHRD and all other colleges. It is a 4 day event which is majorly a techno-management event.

Fee Structure: ( Approx)Academic Fee: 600000/-Hostel and Mess Fee- 200000/-Books and Library Fees- 15000/-Other- 200000/-. Since IMT offers residential campus, fee is slightly on a higher side since it also includes Hostel and Mess charges. But nowadays, almost every college is charging the same fees, so fee is at PAR with other institutes in its category.

A scholarship facility is provided to the toppers of first year. I am not sure about the amount since I was not the topper. IMT do not offer any loan facility for the fees however it can assist the student to get the loan from some of the banks.

Campus life is awesome. I must say it is the best in IMT. One can never feel bored in the campus even for a second. One or more technical, managerial or sports events are always happening in the campus.Night Life of IMT is awesome with almost all sports events being organized during night only ( Day time for classes). Ranbhoomi and Mahasangram being the major sporting events which includes all sports.

Hostels are on twin sharing basis with beds, almirah and study table. There are adequate rooms to accommodate everyone in the campus. Housekeeping facility is excellent and one can get his room cleaned everyday since housekeeping staff daily comes to eve

One thing which even faculty told you in the first day is that seniors are the most important facilitators in the campus with respect to academics, and campus life et al. At the very beginning, there are events where students can meet all the seniors at the same time. This ensures a smooth welcome in to the campus with a big NO to the ragging. At IMT, you will feel how important your seniors are and you are certainly going to miss them once they pass out. Relationship between seniors and juniors are very much like friends only and there is no element of superiority among seniors.

Exam Structure is very comprehensive. Only 60% weightage is given to written exams and rest is for Class Participation, presentations and case studies. Generally exams are not very lengthy since much focus is given only on the concepts. No written exam is
