My B.Sc journey

KCLAS follows the guidelines given by the BHARATHIYAR UNIVERSITY in order to set exams and course curriculum. There are some internal assessment exams, practical exams and semester finals in each semester.

As the college is recently established in 2018, KCLAS dose not have such opportunities. But the placement cell is working hard to provide many job and internship opportunities to the students. And they also want student to apply off-campus placements and internships.

There are many events and fests celebrated in KCLAS on a grand stage. One of the biggest techno event launched in 2019 for engineering students. They also keep on celebrating many regular festivals like republic day, national women's day etc.

KCLAS's fee structure is a little bit expensive in my opinion. The college in providing B.Sc course at an over all cost of Rs. 3,60,000. So, the yearly fees will be Rs. 1,20,000. This fee includes tuition fee only.

KCLAS provides lots of different kind of scholarships like; MERIT, SPORTS, SAKTHI GRANT, MILITARY GRANT, MG AWARD. These scholarships are based on performance of a student in Academic, Sports or based on financial condition and student's parents providing services in defense forces.

For many extracurricular and sports activities KCLAS have a 23 acres of well developed play field. The major outdoor games provided are Football, Hockey, Cricket, Volleyball, Kabaddi etc. They also have a Gymnasium, Hall of Martial Arts and a Chess Academy.

KCLAS provides hostel at a good and affordable price. The cost for both male and female hostels are same. It is Rs. 84000 per year. This hostel provides all the facilities like all other hostels but this one is very clean and provides hygienic food.

For taking admission in KCLAS under B.Sc the candidate must have at least 60% marks in 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board. The selection will be done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in X, XI and XII. The shortlisted candidates have to go through an online assessment test and a personal interview in order to secure a seat in KCLAS for B.SC.

Well skilled, well educated and highly experienced faculty in KCLAS. All of them have an experience of minimum 3-5 years. They all are very interactive during their classes and teach their students with full dedication.
