Remarks
This is the kind of university that creates the next generation of professionals who are competitive and creative and thrive in extremely challenging situations. The campus is very lively, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is designed to be a half-day college and half-day internship program. It focuses on principles of marketing, marketing and brand management, rural marketing, direct and digital marketing, international marketing, competitive strategy creation among others. At the end of each semester, there is a two month long internship program.
Placement Experience
The students generally go for apprenticeship at the end of the course. Some students also opt doing a full-time internship. The placement cell is phenomenal and most of the students of my batch were hired through on-the-campus selection. The major recruiters included Oglivy, Dentsu, RK Swamy, Edelman, and IMRB among others.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is on the higher side, which is expected of professional courses. For my course, I paid about five and a half lacs, which is justified based on the kind of training and exposure you receive.
Campus Life
The campus is diverse and very accepting. There are many extracurricular activities you can opt for, and societies you can join. We also undertook regular sessions for social service. You can learn more about global cultures in the culture presentations.
Admission
DSC is the one place you can trust to give you professional drive and competence. You can fill the application form and if you haven't secured the minimum percentile in an Indian management competitive exam, you have to appear for an internal assessment, followed by a ninety minute psychological test and a personal interview.
Faculty
The faculty is rich, qualified and dedicated. We also attended many guest lectures, seminars and workshops. There are regular assignments, presentations, brand and marketing fests and games to improve competency.
