BBA from SIVET College

As a BBA student, I can recommend my college is a great place to study for anyone who wants to pursue a Bachelors or Masters in Business Administration or related subjects and that too at an affordable price. The college has great supportive faculties, degree programs are really industry ready and a good placement cell with decent placement record. Overall, the education quality is of very high level. The infrastructure is also very beautiful and many students from other states also come to study here.

The course curriculum in my college is very up-to-date and are mainly focused on practical based learning. The studying experience is very nice here and for the students who want to pursue a career in Business Administration, BBA is a great choice to study. There are a total of 6 semesters in our whole course duration and each semester contains at least 6 subjects. The passing criteria is to get a percentage above 35% in each subject.

Every year, our college organises campus interviews and job fairs for the pre-final and final year students. We are also invited to other college for campus interview. More than 50 companies come to our college for the recruitment in the campus interviews and also the job fairs. Top recruiting companies are Tech Mahindra, Wipro, TOI, ICICI Bank, Axis, Kotak Mahindra Bank and many more. The placement cell provides specific focussed training in collabartion with SAI IAS Academy and we are given to write TNPSC, SSC, CGL and foundation for UPSC exams. Commerce students enjoy additional certification courses in TALLY ERP 9 with GST & Payroll, Digital Marketing.

Our college organises many workshops, seminars, Tech Fests and also sends the good students to other colleges to participate in competitions. Some of the cultural events that are organised every year are Sports events (like football, cricket, etc.), Environment Day, Independence Day, Fresher's parties, annual day and many more.

The total tuition fee for the 3 year BBA program is ?70,000/-, which compared to other colleges fees is very low. Students also have an option to apply for scholarships for those who have good academic record and also for the financially weak students.

SIVET is a home to many events and job-fairs. The students here get an exposure of professional life in addition to their academic life. Our college organises many workshops, seminars and inter-college competitions. Many sports tournaments are also held to identify the best players. Sports like football, cricket, Throw-ball, Basketball, etc are the most important ones. Fests are also organised on an yearly basis and are the best part of the college.

The procedure for the admission is quite easy. I got 83% in my 10+2 board exams and that helped me get admission into the college. I went to the college for the counselling followed by verification of my original documents. After that, the college authorities went on with the enrollment procedure. They asked me to pay the fee for the first year which was ?20,000/- and after paying the fees, college confirmed my seat for the BBA course.

The faculty of our college is very knowledgeable, they have great level of expertise and experience in their respective subjects. They even teach us out of the syllabus. They are very motivating and supportive, and guided us throughout the 3 years of our degree program. Most of the professors have a PhD in their respective fields of study.
