Course Curriculum Overview
It was a two years course and had semester-based system. We had examinations conducted in the form of external and internal and practical work conducted after the externals. We were asked to submit the project report every semester an our practical were more focused rather than theoretical.
Placement Experience
Various well-known firms and organisations came to interview, some of the known firm were Aaj Tak, star, Google who came to interview. The selection was on the basis of self merit and from our batch 80% of the students got placed with an average package of Rs.10 lakhs per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The yearly fee was around Rs.2,73,000 which was expensive but students who secure scholarships would have to submit less. Based on the entrance exam result students could save the merit seats. Although the fee was expensive but it was worth the exposure provided. The hostel and the travel fee were separate and the fee could be submitted in the form of demand draft, NEFT, card payments or other modes.
Campus Life
Extra co-curricular activities in sports and other art forms like music, dance, theatre were organised at the college campus and students used to take part. The campus was diverse with equal number of boys and girls, it was a friendly environment.
Admission
The application form was available online, the college conducted its own entrance examination which I cleared after. I was called up on the campus for the psychological interview test and English mental ability test. After clearing the round I was selected for the course.
Faculty
The faculty was amazing and they helped us all along the curriculum. All the teachers were very polite and easy to approach. They cleared all our queries and communicated with us. They shared their experiences and gave us the exposure to explore in the mass communication field.
