Remarks
It was a wonderful course, and despite the hectic schedule (along with my work stress), I am really glad I completed it. The career prospects and the placements are great, and I think institutes like Great Learning are going to generate the next level of business leaders.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is versatile, and being interdisciplinary, gave me a well-rounded to most of the subjects I was a complete beginner in. The course was of one year, and completely online. We had live classes, webinars, and expert lectures. You will receive a certificate after the end of the course.
Placement Experience
The course comes with a hundred percent placement assistance. We had the best packages from the top recruiters like Oracle, Tata Consultancy Services, Deloitte, Adobe, HP, Infosys, SP Global, etc. While most of us were already working, we left our previous employers for the vastly better opportunities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is more than 2 lakhs for the one year program, which is definitely affordable especially when it comes to working, and also justifiable with the training, placements, course flexibility, and faculty.
Fees and Financial Aid
Though the course does not have any provisions for scholarships, there are various loan options you can choose from. HDFC Credila and Avanse are the lending partners of the institution, and there are different loan options to choose from.
Campus Life
The course is totally online, and there was little scope for any extracurricular activities. We had webinars with the top industrial experts and guest faculty; and the institute has collaborations with many national and international institutions, that engage in student exchange.
Admission
Great Learning is a forward-looking B-school and a more or less obvious choice for a working professional by me. I had applied online and after my application was reviewed and accepted, I had to appear for a telephonic interview. I then got selected for the admission.
Faculty
The faculty is illustrious to say the least, and we had frequent lectures by industrial experts. The main focus was on imparting professional skills and career development. We had sessions with the faculty from the top B schools of the world, including HBS, Stanford, Kellogs, University of Chicago, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIT Bombay, and IIT Delhi.
