Review of Government Law College, Coimbatore

I love this college which is a really fascinating place and have a pure environment. We also have huge library stuffed with amazing books and novels, well-equipped with modern technologies labs, a huge and beautiful auditorium, 24*7 available medical facilities for students and many more

The course curriculum is a bit vast but it is also quite good. Exams exert a little pressure on students. It is a 2 years duration course and has in-depth focus on topics such as criminal cases, civil cases etc.

The college offers various opportunities for LLM students in several reputed and established companies. Students can also apply for any off-campus companies as well. The placement cell helps students to get ready for job interviews. Yes, the college also offers internships to students, so that they can learn everything taught in the class practically and make a better future.

Since this is a government college, the fee structure is very much feasible and affordable but this college has much lesser course fees than other government law colleges. The total fees for 2 years that I had to pay were Rs 3,900 including tuition fees of Rs 500 every year, other fees of Rs 1449 every year, registration fees of Rs 50 during the admission only.

The best extra-curricular activity that each and every student enjoys and eagerly participate is the moot court, where every thing is set up like a real court and students fight cases similarly which happens in real courts. We also have several other activities such as sports tournaments, campaigns, workshops, convocation etc.

Yes, I had opted for hostel facilities, and I am so glad that I did so. The college offers various facilities to host-elites like well-furnished rooms, mess with good and hygienic food, cleaned and well-maintained toilets, gym facilities, sports complex, Wi-Fi facility with 24*7 high-speed internet connectivity etc. I would rate it a 9 our of 10.

We have an alumni association in our college, and every they get a chance to interact with students and share their experiences with all students stills pursuing their dreams here. Seniors are also very understanding and don't promote ragging in college as well as inside hostels for both boys and girls.

The admission in this college is based on CLAT exam scores and grades from previous college of similar course. As I had completed my LLB from a deemed college, I sat for CLAT exam and on the basis of it, I was selected to take an admission here.

The faculty members are really supportive and well-educated. They also encourage students in every possible ways. Along with classroom lectures, they also take interesting practical sessions as well.
