Miss those days of College life!!!

Good remarks only. I dont find anything bad about KIT. It was one of the most best time I had in college along with my career development. KIT really provides you with great platform.

I took HSC pune board exam, scored 90%. I was always interested in electronics stuff. Also, was looking for soft side technology to make career in. Also, KIT was one of the most reputed college in Kolhapur. So, i opted for E&tc which is mixture of electronics and software skills in KIT.

It is good. Staff was really experienced and was helpful. They were always ready to help and clarify for any doubts related to e&TC curriculum and also had thought out of the box. Also, college facilities like lab, library was one of the best that college can provide.

Placement was one of the main reason this college was so much popular. There were all top MNC companies recruting from KIT college. It was almost 100% placement every year. Below are few of the companies which visited KIT in 2011, Cognizant, TCS, Patni, Mindtree, ADP.

There was various department level and college level events organized. Also, there was annual events where every department used to had chance to showcase there quality of event management. Pioneer was one of the biggest event in KIT which had participants from various college in cities from all over Maharashtra.

Fees were decided at college level. Every college would have different fee structure depending on their development costs, etc. However, fees of KIT was feasible comparing to placement and level of education they offered.

There are lots of education loans facility available however college won't sponser any of such schemes. However they provide with rewards to topper every year.

Campus life is awesome at KIT. extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions like robotics, debates was one of the reason KIT was well known for. We organized number of such events every year and they were grand and successful. We enjoyed them and even had our skills improvement.

I didn't for chance to use Hostel facility. However as per updates it was good. Mess food or canteen food was good, tasty and also cheaper.

Alumni was awesome and helpful. In fact, we had lot of professors which were alumni of KIT. So, they were very much knowledgeable, helpful and well known about college processes.

Exam structure in shivaji university is very much well planned. There are two semesters per year. Around 6-7 subjects per semester. One month of preparation leaves before every semester. I think it is the best pattern I have ever saw in any other university.
