I had a very memorable experience in this college and made a very good bunch of friends.
Entrance Preview
I Got in through CET had got 10k rank and the main reason for opting this college was its beauty and its location.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was Vtu Prescribed and I had take Electronics and Communication. It was a very good experience. There was an added advantage being here that you could choose any of the electives and a brief about all of them were given in advance.
Internships Opportunities
There was an internship mela conducted once and many companies had participated and it was a good opportunity for us to bridge the gap between the curriculum and the industry practice.
Placement Experience
From our department almost everyone was placed. Many companies had come and there was lots of opportunities for all of us. Most of the companies would give a package around 300000-350000. There were others with a package greater than this also.
College Events
The college fest is one of the best ones celebrated in all of bangalore. Furore is the name of the fest. Then there are departmental fest which are also loaded with lots of fun and the whole department takes part and it brings us all together.
Fee Structure And Facilities
If you get in through CET then the fees is minimal which comes to about 49k a year. The Comed-k and Management fees is a bit expensive but ok when compared to other colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
I dont know much about the loan facilities. But there are very good scholarships if one is from the SC,ST. There are also many scholarships given to the minority based on their academic performances.
Campus Life
The campus life is the best that you can experience in Bangalore. You have all the sports facilities. There are cells for taking part in national events. There is a department which helps build your ideas and help you to work on that. There are many events taking place on regular basis.
Hostel Facilities
The Hostel is very good and in each room only two members. There is attached toilets. The Hostel food is also very hygienic. They provide very good facilities.
Alumni/Alumna
We get to interact with the seniors during the fests and there are alumni meets wherein they share their experiences of how they got placed and how life is on the otherside and about the opprtunities of doin igher studies abroad.
Exam Structure
The Exam structure is with respect to the Visvesveraya Technological University Belgaum. It is more of a Chill as there are gaps between the exams.
Faculty
The faculty were all up to the mark and ready to help whenever approached. There are many senior professors who have a very goo knowledge and understanding of the subjects.
