Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was of moderate level for us. Many colleges offer very easy and basic syllabus for B.Com. which even a 12th student could understand. But we had syllabus tailored to our understanding level.

Placement Experience

The placement situation was good in our college, but I was aiming for MBA after graduation. I already had many entrance tests coming up at the time of campus placements, so I skipped them, and studied instead.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was as normal as many other colleges charge. It was ?50,000 for a year for my undergraduate course. It was feasible for me and most of our classmates. ?1,50,000 was okay for such a course and college.

Campus Life

We had a nature club, which spread environmental awareness among us all. We had NSS and NCC related activities. There were a commerce forum, science forum, and a management forum, each focused on the respective topic.

Admission

The criterion for selection in this college is an interview. I had to appear for the interview, so I prepared accordingly for it. Some studies related, and some general questions were asked. I think I did good, so I got admission here.

The faculty were continuously working their best to watch us succeed, and we thanked them with our hard work. They didn't only give us assignments and homework to complete, but eould also appreciate us when we did a good job.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.

I didn't apply for any other college because i always wanted to continue in the same place where i started my studies. So thats the reason i chose this college. I didn't get any rejections as i had got calls for other colleges but i didn't wanna go there so i continued where i wanted to continue. There is not long process when we joined we had go to college and fill forms and pay the first installment of fees if we wanted to pay. Now i think it is completely online based.
