Course Curriculum Overview
The course is up to date and we have laboratory-like Bioprocess Laboratory, Cell Signalling Laboratory, Computational Biology Laboratory and Bioprocess Laboratory. The course has topics like Food Process Engineering, Refrigeration and Air - Conditioning, Fat & oil processing Technology, Biochemistry of processing & Preservation and Fruit and Vegetable Processing Laboratory.
Placement Experience
My college provides jobs opportunities through the placement cell. students get the opportunity in the field of Food Scientist, Food Researcher, Food Consultant, Production Manager, Product Development Specialist, Research Technician and Food Application Specialist. Every year many come to offer good opportunities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees of my course are INR 68,370 per annum including my admission fees, tuition fees, books fees and lab caution fees. Also if students want to take hostel facility then they need to pay extra charges for that. The college also provides scholarships to the students such as Community Scholarship, First Graduate Concession, Alumni Trust Scholarship and many more.
Campus Life
The college organises sports game like Basketball, Football, Hockey, Volleyball and Tennis on the campus. it is for both boys and girls. The college has well-equipped laboratories like Bioprocess Laboratory and Computational Biology Laboratory for the students. For students, there is a computer in which printer and high-speed internet are available for the students. the college has a transport facility for the local students and teachers.
Admission
The admission of the candidate is totally based on the marks obtained by the candidate in his 10+2 exam. The student must have completed his 10+2 with subjects like physics, chemistry and mathematics. The admission is given through a Single Window Admission System and the name on the merit list. Counselling and Interview is taken by the college authority before giving admission.
Faculty
I am a big of Dr B.S. Lakshmi who is the Associate Professor of Centre for Food Technology. she is very intelligent and polite. Other faculty members are also good and very friendly with us, that's, why every student feels comfortable for asking any question from the teachers and teachers are always ready to answer the question of students.
