Course Curriculum Overview
The course is perfect for preparing someone for a career in mass media and marketing. The course is an integrated diploma/master's degree in Mass Communication and includes all aspects that can be crucial for a succesful career.
Placement Experience
The college provides internships or apprenticeships as well as placements in top companies. Some examples include Spicejet, Muthoot, Madison, The Hindu, Bang in ther Middle, JWT, Edelman, LG and Fortis.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite expensive. 2.73 lakh rupees per year is what it costs, and there are two years in the degree. It isn't too widely accesible, of course, but there are financial aids available from the Institute or through loans.
Campus Life
There are a number of workshops, occasional field visits, and a lot of different events in the campus that students can participate in for their own development. There's sports and stuff too for those interested.
Admission
A competitive qualifying examination such as CAT is required for admission to the college and the course. Alternatively, one could also give the admission test conducted by the college. Whatever the exam, after applying, a psychological test and interview are there which we have to pass in order to take admission.
Faculty
The faculty members helped as they could, teaching the subjects and guiding us through real-world experiences such as laboratories or field visits. They were quite helpful indeed, and were instrumental in my passing the course comfortably.
