The course develops the student?s intellect through practical learning. Examinations are held at the end of each semester. There are both theory and practical examination which prepare the students for final examination. The subjects helped us understand the real depth of this course.

The college is among the top colleges for MD in Psychiatry and the students passed from here are well placed in India and abroad. There are no campus interview provided to the students but after passing from the college the students get job easily. This is one of the reputed college thus offers the best placement to each students. Most of our seniors are placed in big clinics, hospitals, and few opted for research work.

The fee of the college is very nominal and it is approximately 8000 INR for each semester. The fee is affordable to all the students. The hostel fee is also minimal and economic for all the students. There are several extracurricular activities organised in the college itself. We can attend different club meetings and participate in the same. The college is very inclusive when it comes to accepting people but many people are very open minded in nature. We take part in Annual sports meet along with our teachers and class mates. Various sports like badminton, carrom, and chess are few sports I took part in. Apart from this we have movie club and each Saturday we can watch our favourite movies.

The alumni network is quite strong. Almost all alumni are in contact with each other and help each other when requires. They also provide their valuable feedback. Alumni help with placements and internship and are supportive and co-operative. Moreover the seniors visit juniors and motivate us and share their experiences.

Students having a B.Sc degree along with the mandatory subjects can apply for the MD course. It is compulsory for the candidates to have PCB in their 10+2 with some mandatory subjects. Candidates must have a graduation degree. Candidate must have passed MBBS from a recognised university or equivalent.

All faculties are very talented and experienced and are actively involved in all the activities and they are very much approachable for any problem. Our faculties are scholars from top universities, we have guest lectures who visit our campus from abroad. The teaching faculty of the college are excellent and they were well up to date to current knowledge.
