Remarks

First of all NIFM was the India's best business school. The facilities they provided me in the span of 2 years was nowhere to found in other business schools. Majority of the alumnis who passed out from here are having better jobs and lifestyle.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was well updated and guided by the saints of NIFM. They made sure of just keeping best topics in the syllabus and other outdated information were deleted. Faculties always found new ways to check our knowledge in the form of test, assignments etc.

Course Fees: INR 1500000 per year

Placement Experience

Many international as well as national companies were invited via placement cell to provide job opportunities to students from various specialization. Some of them were Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, KPMG etc. Average salary given was 10 lacs per annum.

College Events

Extracurricular activities was there for the students to explore other side of their lives which was playing side. I served my college becoming the basketball leader and volunteered my college at many places.

Campus Life

World class business school comes with world class amenities. Each and every day I spent in this college was just spectacular and felt like living in abroad. All the other equipments for better learning was there in the college.

Hostel Facilities

There were approximately 100 rooms in the hostel with 7 to 10 rooms in each floor. There were two kinds of rooms one was air conditioned and another was non air conditioned rooms. Charges were slightly differed. Every thing about hostel was magical.

Admission

I sat in the exam called CAT PG National Level Test in order to get admission in the best B School of India. There was no particular entrance paper for NIFM. I got 86% in the entrance and was able to get admission in the college of my dreams.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards you'll be eligible for campus placements. Many companies visits are college such as adobe, nippo, airtel etc.. Avg package is around 6lpa Almost 70-85% are getting placements.

I hot admission in the college on the basis of 12th percentage. One needs to get atleast aggregate 50% to be eligible for applying and after that one needs to go through several interview rounds.

"The participants are required to do project work in the third term. The project work is equal to 2 papers i.e six credits. The project work is evaluated by (i) the Project Guide (ii) Project Evaluator and (iii) Project Presentation and/or vivavoce having 25%, 25% and 50% weightage respectively.The final grading of an individual is based on his/her performance in each paper and the project work. During the sixth trimester of the Programme, each participant is required to undertake a research project. the college emphasis on the trainning of the student on a practical ground too. A research problem of contemporary relevance (theoretical / action oriented) is identified by the participants in consultation with NIFM faculty and / or senior level officers of their respective Department / organization. However, the final decision on the project work is taken by NIFM. The timing and duration of the project work is 16 weeks as per the curriculum. NIFM faculty guides the participants in research, analysis, preparation and completion of the project. The participants are expected to remain in regular touch with their faculty guides for timely completion of the project work.
