Remarks

Just want to say if you are really looking for a course which gives you dedicated knowledge of finance then I think National institute of financial management is the best.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculam of the college is well versed with the financial knowledge and curriculam is research driven as the college has a dedicated finance lab which has a world class facilities of various financial terminal like bloomberg, Thompson reuter, Capital IQ etc.

Placement Experience

College make sure that every student get placed. There are various reputed companies within the finance vertical comes for placements.

College Events

There are various cultural programme being organised by the college. From technical to cultural management Festivals used to happen. Every Hindu festival from holi to diwali was celebrated. Also various technical sessions were being organised by the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since college is a government organisation, hence the fees as compared to other post graduation colleges is relatively feasible since in such a low fees college is providing world class facilities from curriculum to teachers and from mess to hostel facilities everything was amazing.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn't opt for any scholarship. Since the college already provided the fees at a reasonable rate hence there were no scholarship programme run by them.

Campus Life

Campus life was really good, since college always made sure to give a homely environment to participants. Also talking about the gender ratio so the intake of females were relatively low as compared to male participants. However looking at the current batch gender ratio has been improved.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is not as active for this college. However all the seniors have made sure to connect with all the pass outs and the current batch participant on WhatsApp groups where they share some useful insights related to job and networking

Admission

College provides an all round knowledge of Financial markets. Talking about the environment of the college it is amazing from faculties to infrastructure, everything is world class. Other than the faculties and infrastructure, they also provide a great food in the mess and also hostel facility are awesome.

Faculties in the college are world class. Each and every faculty is associated with the one or the other reputed organisation some are the VP of various finance companies, few are related to banking industry and even college also arrange a session with the CEO and MD of multi billion organisation in order to make students aware of the practical world.

Placement Experience:

So the students can sit for placements right after their completion of 6th semester. The Campus also invites a wide number of companies in the college for placements and a lot of students get placed. Although the placement is not too high.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards you'll be eligible for campus placements. Many companies visits are college such as adobe, nippo, airtel etc.. Avg package is around 6lpa Almost 70-85% are getting placements.

I hot admission in the college on the basis of 12th percentage. One needs to get atleast aggregate 50% to be eligible for applying and after that one needs to go through several interview rounds.

"The participants are required to do project work in the third term. The project work is equal to 2 papers i.e six credits. The project work is evaluated by (i) the Project Guide (ii) Project Evaluator and (iii) Project Presentation and/or vivavoce having 25%, 25% and 50% weightage respectively.The final grading of an individual is based on his/her performance in each paper and the project work. During the sixth trimester of the Programme, each participant is required to undertake a research project. the college emphasis on the trainning of the student on a practical ground too. A research problem of contemporary relevance (theoretical / action oriented) is identified by the participants in consultation with NIFM faculty and / or senior level officers of their respective Department / organization. However, the final decision on the project work is taken by NIFM. The timing and duration of the project work is 16 weeks as per the curriculum. NIFM faculty guides the participants in research, analysis, preparation and completion of the project. The participants are expected to remain in regular touch with their faculty guides for timely completion of the project work.
