Remarks
I have a great time at college. It's one of the top animation schools in India and it shows. I get the best education in film-making here and I am really glad I chose FX school. The faculty is really knowledgeable and accommodating.
Course Curriculum Overview
The film-making course is really hectic and intense at the institution. We have to make 5 short films to get the certificate. The first few modules include introduction and foundation to film making. Then we progress on writing and direction, production, post-production, cinematography, and editing. These are for an advanced certificate in film making. The duration of this course is 11 months. There's a professional certificate as well, which is 3 months long.
Placement Experience
Many students work on feature films during their course. Students have worked on films like Ragini MMS, Dongala Mutha, Bhoot 2 etc. We also get the opportunity work for big production companies like Viacom18, iRock Media, Balaji Telefilms etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee depends on the course. It starts from Rs. 1L. Since learning film-making includes a lot of equipment and use of technological advancements it can get quite expensive. But for quality education and guidance its worth it.
Campus Life
The entire institution is about creativity. The faculty helps the students to enhance our creativity and improve our perspectives. We have the well-equipped and latest technology in the labs. We have a lot of fun together and you get to meet and interact with other students with similar interests.
Admission
I've always wanted to learn film-making after my 12th grade. I applied to FX School online. They mainly consider your academic qualifications than anything else. If you have a passion for it, you can get in.
Faculty
We have a very experienced bunch of faculty. All of them have actual industry experience and thus a lot of practical knowledge. Most of them are internationally trained. They know what is being taught and are passionate about the field.
