Course Curriculum Overview
This doctorate course aims in developing new varieties and traits include genetics and genomics, marker-assisted selection (MAS), and transgenic crops. It also explains Genetic structures and mechanisms , genetic resources and breeding, and transfer genes for specific traits into plants where they are needed. The course requires completion and submission of thesis.

The application fee is Rs.200 for general categories and Rs.100 for SC/ST. Admissions are offered on the basis of marks obtained in CSIR UGC NET followed by interview
