Course Curriculum Overview

Forensic medicine provides training to undergraduate students about the subject through the use of modern teaching methods through real-life cases that are brought by the police. This helps the students get a first hand of what their job would entail after they have finished their course.

There are ample placement opportunities that are provided by the placement cell organised by Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College. These placement opportunities provide a positive environment for the students as they do not have to worry about searching for a job after they have finished their course.

The fee for any medical course is generally a little higher as compared to other courses. This is because the facilities and the requirements of a medical course is a lot for which the college takes some fee from the students which are the only reason for a moderately high fee structure.

Admission

To get admission in the course of Forensic Medicine at Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College students should be at least 17 years of age and must have the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, and English in their higher secondary and should have obtained at least 50% marks.

I choose this college because this was the best college I was getting from my rank obtained in KEAM. I cleared the cutoff for this college in second round.Admission here are given on the basis of their rank of obtained in either KEAM(Kerala engineering architecture medical entrance test) or NATA.
