Remarks

One of my colleagues did his MBA from the college. He always told me about the different things present in the college. I for so long wanted to my MBA. So I too wanted to do my course from some better college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course set up in the way of giving atmost knowledge to the students. And teachers they were just the perfect ones I ever got either in my school or in my college. They focused on every student and made them understood.

Course Fees: INR 94350 per year

Internships Opportunities

For internship I worked in Paytm as their sales deputy in-charge during my summer holidays.

Placement Experience

BYJUS, Paytm, TCS, Infosys Wipro IBM Microsoft HP Dell Micromax every recruiters was available for the MBA student which was the best thing I liked about my degree. Even their interview was easy to crack. And salary was 40000+ always

College Events

Event which holded my attention was that NCC Campus. Every one has the opportunity to get them selves into this camp. I was too the member of NCC and it was in total a very good experience for me. All cultural and youth fest held in the college every year.

Campus Life

Campus was really good. Big beautiful and warm. Campus welcomed each and every student whole heartedly. As my MBA was a general course I never needed any laboratory for Practicals etc. Wifi was there.

Admission

There was just a single criteria on which admission was given and that was the merit list.

Placement Experience:

Student become eligible form 7th semesters, Companies like Amazon, DeShaw, SalesForce, Deloitte, etc visit here and they respectively take a good number of students. Highest package was 80 LPA by DeShaw and average package is around 13 to 15 LPA 93 % students are placed I am also planning to sit in the placements and going in the development feild

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

I chose this course because I liked horticulture .This course is very well applied in real world in cultivation and growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers and horticulture also has job opportunities in private sector. There are some improvements like more practical learning, real world exposure etc. that could be made to make this course more effecgive in real world application. The exams are conducted per semester and the difficulty level of exams is average.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

Admission is in online method, after submission form in which 10th 12th mark sheets, character certificate, hp bonafide( girls only), Gap certificate(if the gap of in studies). After submission of the form, u will get a fee msg to be submitted online if your form is approved by the committee. Good faculty and good labs. In Bsc Min marks to get admission is "50%" and 45% for the reserved category. The admission process In Bsc Cs Is first to come first get. No counselling for the BSc program. The good environment of the college was very good means friendly no kind of ragging was there. The college seniors were helping hand for us always.Atmosphere of the college was also very peaceful and fresh as it is located in a hilly area. The bad the teachers in our course was not interested in the practicals their whole concentrations was on theoretical portion.
