Thanjavur Medical College was an amazing place to study my subject of pediatrics. I felt that they had good faculty as well as good infrastructure and many facilities available for the students to use.
Course Curriculum Overview
I feel that the course curriculum is very good for those who have a specific subject or specialization they want when they pursue their Doctorate of Medicine. This course focused primarily on paediatric medicine, which I wanted. The exams are usually not that often but it depends on the subjects you are taking.
Placement Experience
Yes, usually after graduation, you can easily get job opportunities at various places like hospitals or clinics or even start your own practice. By getting your M.D. you will have a lot of credibility, so you can easily land a role anywhere. The college can also help you with contacts in the field too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The costs of the course are so inexpensive here at Thanjavur Medical College. The total course is only 2 years in duration and the yearly fees are about 32,700 rupees meaning the total course will only cost you 65,000 rupees.
Campus Life
Yes, we have a lot of facilities which are available for the students in the college. For example, our lab facilities are quite good. We also have a good library with a lot of material you can access without paying for.
Admission
I chose Thanjavur Medical College because I wanted to learn about Paediatrics at an affordable place. I got admission by writing the PG medical entrance exam known as NEET. Based on my rank and merit I was admitted into the course.
Faculty
Faculty is really great here. I think that they are very experienced. Most of them hold advanced degrees and medical doctorates of their own so while they teach they can incorporate their own advanced learning into the lectures and materials they use for our lessons.
