Among the top 10 college of Kerala.The placement cell is very active.Maintaining its mission to improve educational standards globally, IAO evaluates renowned universities around the world on the basis of its unique and patented points profile score. After performing an initial assessment ( IAO's evaluation ) commission has announced Sct College Of Engineering eligible for candidacy status.

Course Curriculum Overview

Basically it's under the Kerala technological university, so the curriculum is updated per year and Two more course has been added up to the course curriculum.Faculties are very good and cooperative to the students

Internships Opportunities

CDAC- TVMARDUINO AND RASPBERRY PIEBasics where teached by them.TaclogHands-on experience in robotics and home automation and other leading edges in electronics and computer field.

Most of leading companies are visited every year in our college.Expectially the high payed job are given by oracle and Tata elxi.Also there are some mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys are leading company vising the campus.Byus, carestack,accubits and all other IT leading company are also a regular visitor of our college.

College Events

Campus life is so extravaganza.Our techno- cultural festival is the 2nd biggest fest in Kerala.Usually it is conducted on nishangadhi named as cultaway.Then there are lots of club participation for encourage the student to get involved in all other extracurricular activities.IEEE organisation play a major role in this.

Fees and Financial Aid

Minority scholarship are available.Also the scholarship provided from government is also applicable.There are facilities to apply for education loan for students who needs help in financial things.Also the alumines support is also there.

Campus Life

College doesn't have any big infrastructures,but the collective allumines and other funds from government are using for the better infrastructure of the college.Sct doesn't have any sport ground and auditorium for conducting programmes.But sports event are regularly conducted in Trivandrum central stadium yearly.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel are only available for women's.There is no hostel for men's.Other local PG are available and it's rent is starting from 2500-5000 ranges.Its dependa upon the food and other facilities.The fees structure can change per year

Nothing tell about bad things only good thing are there.

College and faculties promote and provide chances for Industrial visit in industries all over India. The faculties of our college are well experienced and with better qualifications. Prof Rajesh Menon of the mechanical department is a gold medalist from IIT MADRAS.

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.

I choose this college because it has vibrant campus life and freedom.It also has good placement records,good pass percentage. I also took due to distance advantage.This college also has good faculty, teaching. Although the campus is small, the infrastructure is well maintained. It has well structured labs.I also looked for cet, Trivandrum but I didn't get it because of my keam rank. The exam accepted for the course is keam and most of the students prefer it. Students can also join this college by nri quota without any entrance exam by giving more fees.I got admission in ece in sctce in the keam 1st allotment itself....Read More

A look inside Sct - Campus life, Academics and more

The main reason I chose this college was because this as under the Government of Kerala. It is held jointly by both government and ksrtc. This the standard of teachers will be better than other private colleges and campus life would be better as well. I have gotten confirmed admission from Amritha University and FISAT. I chose Sct because of the above given reason and also because of its location in trivandrum. I had applied to both Cet and Gect but I didn't pass the cutoff. The admission price for SCTCE is through KEAM which is held by the government of Kerala.
