The tag of NIT and the location were 2 important reasonsNever had the interest in coding and always had an interest in electrical right from 12th class. Though NIT Patna was formed in 2004. It was Patna university from before. In 2004 there were only 3 branches which are core branches. So through students we got to know about the equipment in lab, faculty and resources for Electrical students. and thus decided that it would be better to do B.Tech in Electrical from NIT Patna. Also patna is a good place for coaching of UPSC, CAT, GATE. All these factors prompted me to get to NIT Patna

The curriculum was good and is updating rapidly. The faculty were very much efficient in teaching, We had good experience in terms of projects and Insutrial internships and Lab practices. The books in library helped us a lot in gaining a lot of knowledge.We had enough equipment in labs and the lab assistants were well qualified

I havent got any internship as core companies mostly donot get internships here as they are never into the side of coding. But CSE and IT students get internships with an stipend of 25,000 per month

Every January we have the techno cultural fest which was becoming better year by year. No of people attending the fest has gradually increased in the 4 years. All students get to participate in it. Students irrespective of any discrimination on religion, region, caste can be seen getting a chance to conduct some of these events. We have 6 Technica and 8 Cultural programs. Along with it we have many clubs in college for robotics, Coding and personality development, Some activity goes on in these clubs round the year.

No but students from SC, ST categories can avail a refund of their fee.Loan facilities are provided by banks of Patna for studying and there are few organizations at Patna which also provide schoalrships for studnets on Merit basis.

Campus is small but has everything. So it is easy for you to go from one place to other.Sports ground: You can play any sport there.Tennis court & Basketball Court: They are 2 sepearte courts present for playing respectice games.Gym: We also have a gym, Yoga and squash courtDepartments: Which contain labs and Smart classroom (Equipped with projector) classes for students and cabins for staff. Here we can also find M.Tech and PHd students working in projects.Hostels : For all students nowMian building: Academic and Examination departments and few classrooms for students are present.Hospital: For medical EmergenciesConference halls: For any conferences: Large halls (4 in number)Canteen: 3 in number with different styles. 1; For snacks 2nd one for a good meal and 3rd one for coffee and sandwichIncubation Cell: To work on new Ideas

At our time till 3rd year there was no hostel facility to all. We stayed in PG outside where rental expense was around 1500-2000 per month and food expenses were around 1500-2000 per month where we have a cook for cooking whose salary is included. We also have mess here outside which serves good food at 50 Rs. We also had other charges like wifi, Water for drinking and small electrical repairs There were no security issues as people were realy friendly with us there. No of students per room in a PG varies from 1 to 3, but we use to rent a full flat and used to stay as 3 members in a room In 4th year we got hostel and now every student gets a hostel. The hostels are 3 bed sharing and they are new hostels. They have a good airflow, Ganga view, Beds, Fans, Bathrooms are good, We have ethernet cables and a desk and chair for each student in the hostel.
