I was registered in keam an according to my rank (2047 )i was allotted in merit admission in this college. Talking about the college. to be frank it is a family. All the teachers students and other staffs including the security. all know earch other and its never like a College its like we are in our family itself.
Course Curriculum Overview
Architecture is a very good course for those who work hard and has Passion.Its a 5 yr course and 10 semester are provided. 1 st yr 1 ans 2 semester exam are conducted and the end of that academic year. 7th and 8th we have internship that is during 4th yr we doesn't have to come to college can intern in any architecture firm in any countries. Final yr we have the thseis.These mat vary according to the university. We are following the rule and protocols from COA( council of architecture) and MG UNIVERSITY.
Placement Experience
Architecture college doesn't had any placements. During internship we may get many contacts and according to owr portfolio and oru skills in softwares like lumion,3ds max, sketchup autocad. And according to owr design we may get a nice job.In other countries we may get well salaried job. After 3 to 4 yrs experience we can start a small firm and start a career
College Events
Life life is just ausome. Vert friendly teachers and staff.Conducting architecture fest of 3 to 4 days.Other festivals.College days.Arts days.Sports days.All kerala architecture sports meet. And many other.And the main event is the architecture fest lasting 3 to 4 days
Fees and Financial Aid
College does support and encourage loan and scholarships provided by government and other.I applied for education loan and college management was helping me a loat. Also scholarship are being promoted.
Campus Life
Our college is having only two department. 1. B.pharm2. B.archTotal of 1000 students approximately.It is a pure vegetarian campus under the management of Mookambika trust and Nambuthiri trust. Well provided with spacious studios. All time free wifi. Library access. Outdoor studio. Beautiful area. Between tropical mountains. Pleasent climate. Girls hostel is within the campus and for Boys its almost 1 km away but provided with bus facilities.College is situated at a remote area. Only 4 -5 public bus transportation a day. Auto taxi always functions. Also college bus provide life to nearby jn.
Hostel Facilities
It is like a dormet. 4 to 5 students in a big room. With a vert very friendly warden. So during and studies and works. Students can use the college studios till late night. Hostl is adaptable for fews. But PGs are available nearby. Most of the students rent a house near muvattupuzha town so that many facilities are available. Hostel food is not that good and only veg is provided. During mansoon power cut offs are common and may last for weeks. But the ambience of the village is next level.
