Platinum Period

I had taken Amity entrance exam & cleared the same for MBA. However, didn't get much time to prepare for CAT or MAT. The admission process is great in Amity. Being offered the E&L - Entrepreneurship stream in MBA, i had given my options as Finance & Retail. But being new in this stream, it was a different outlook which i get.

During our program, we are asked to go for Summer internship & prepare the report for that at the end of the period. Many companies came to college to select student for summer intern & offered good stipend as well minimum of 8K. However, we were free to go outside & do summer intern as per our interest area & industry.

It was extremely good. We had a batch of 1450 in 2008-2010 & out of it 1300 students gets campus placed.Companies like TCS/Cognizant/Wipro/Dish TV/ KPMG/ Chefline Associates/ Real State comapnies etc. came to offer placements. The minimum package offered by any company to studets were 3.5 Lakhs/annum.

All MBA streams have their individual events during the year.For our MBA E&L we had "Tatva" which had case studies & B-Paln competitions.We had annual sports meet as well at inter college level among different departments in Amity as "SANGATHAN".

Fee structure, being a reputed & private B-School, was bit expensive but at the end, it was all worth. Being a student at Amity University is not easy when it comes to your personal IQ skill & financial grounds as well. If they charge you that much, they make sure to take out the best within you.

Amity offers Scholarships to the students who perform more than excellent as per their parameters. They do not offer any loan facility. However, students can take loans from the banks for the same.

It was a different life in Amity campus. Everything you asked above are part of my college life & no gender bias on any ground. We learned we did all the mess / we did almost everything a student was suppose to do and not suppose to do. But it was always a team work & a good show.

Though i was not a hostler, the hostel & mess food quality was awesome. We had large cafeterias in every block of the campus & have huge cafe & food joints in H-Block to cater large number of student & staff strength.

Well connected internal network of Alumni students & with our seniors as well. Time to time Alumni meets & regular interactions with the college comity for assignments & visits makes a good bond.

It was a hectic day while we had our exams but it was all managed well. The exam procedure was as per University rules. We used to have mid-sems & tests on weekly & half-year basis. MBA comprises of 4 Semesters.

The faculty standards are more than excellent in Amity university by the time we completed our course. All faculty were certified professors & Ph.D holders in their stream.
