Remarks

NIT in India are considered as one of the most esteemed universities; therefore, being able to call myself a student of this institution itself is a recognition in itself. Being here provides me with several opportunities. Our campus provides us with several different student led club that compete globally to pursue our interests and hobbies. The location of my college is also a plus point as it is located in one of the safest cities and a business hub.

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses are fairly updated and each teacher tries to be on top of their respective subjects, bringing in any new discoveries or faults. As I just finished my first year, I didn?t have much of an industrial exposure.

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 67900 per year

Placement Experience

Due to the recent scandal, not that great. Very limited companies come to our campus. The average package this year was 12 lakhs which is really disappointing considering it is an NIT

Being part of a technical and cultural clubs in my campus, I would say my college provides us with many opportunities to explore our passions. As these clubs are student led, it makes it much more interactive and the surrounding is very amicable.

Alembic,pollycab and sunpharma are visiting this callage and I don't know about Highest package but the average like 500000 and the students are have more than 8 CGPA so they are definitely eligible for the placement

Inside SVNIT: A students’s UNFILTERED view

Honestly, i had applied so many NITs but due to my average score in JEE MAINS , i was getting only SVNIT and some Northen east NITs I did not choose other NITs as they are very far apart from my home state. And talking about my branch , there are various companies around my home town . Generally SVNIT accepts the admission on the basis of JEE MAINS score. SVNIT -The best for Transportation engineering

I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. Surat is the best city for seeing the development which is being carried out and a great infrastructure is also available. Great college for exploring and learning.

I had a very good jee mains rank and was getting in every nit and iiits admission in some branches but still i choose this because i had interest in coding and ai. The admission process is that you have to qualify in jee mains with rank of around 40k or if categories then can go upto 60k. And you would need to get more than 75+ in cbse....Read More
