Admission to the National Institute of Technology (NIT) relies on JEE Mains scores and State Board scores, with seat allocation administered by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The JEE Mains exam, held annually in April, determines eligibility for subsequent admission processes. Internships, starting from the third year, are integral, with companies like JP Morgan and L&T offering stipends from 10,000 to 100,000 INR per month.

Families earning less than 1 lakh annually get a full tuition waiver, while those earning between 1 and 5 lakhs receive two-thirds fee remission.
