i got this college via CSAB, the special round of JEE councilling. I chose this college because at that time, this was the best choice that i was being offered. Also, i didnt want to compromise on my interest as i always wanted to pursue IT and computer science and now i dont have any regrets for any of the decisions that i took. the things that i like the most about this college are:-1) The amazing coding culture over here which i feel is better than many IIT's.2)The talented students of our current batch (and maybe your potential seniors).3)our campus may lack appeal and facilities a little, but i guess everything else here is totally worth it.

Course Curriculum : our college follows IIT's Refined course curriculum which not only involves theory and practicals, but also practicum. in this the students are taught, how to be all round engineers by building devices, and programming IC's, disassembling and assembling of electric devices, and also reverse engineering which are not generally taught in many colleges.

my previous internships (non-technical) :1) Unschool ( Regional community intern) - 2200rs/mon I simply went to the website filled the form and applied, gave my interview, worked as a campus volunteer for 2 months and then was promoted to Regional head.2)Coding Blocks ( community Intern) - 5000rs/mon Applied via the Website, gave interview and got selected as a campus superhero, worked hard to get promoted to community intern.

IIITU has an active placement cell that initiates smooth Placement process.It provides a platform to facilitate interaction between companies and students. Many companies come for hiring here like, Jio, grophers, motherson, DentalKart, KPIT etc. Our Alumni networking is really well, many of our seniors have worked as Intern SDE at big companies like Microsoft and have been hired after that. Some did Intern at google.one of our respected senior even represented India in world Stage ICPC coding content and made to the runner-up.also, we have a pretty active Entrepreneur cell too.

Technical: we've had many technical events.like Game of Codes(currently going on), Coderation and other coding events local to our college.Cultural: Cultural activities like Safarnama, Online Debate contest (War of Words) etc were conducted last year.Sports: We had Inter-Branch Sports meet and also actively Participated in Inter-IIIT sports meet 2019 along with a small sports day event.

No scholarships availed by me but there are many state based and category based scholarships that students can avail. all information is discussed by the Officials at the admission time.

It's satisfactory as we are currently living in our transit campus at Una. But mostly all the basic needs are kept in mind by our really helpful and hardworking Director sir. Sports facilities for Cricket, Badminton, Football, Volleyball, Tabletennis are available. we have active athletics team with talented players too. wifi is 100mbps and has enough bandwidth to cover hostel grounds completely. also Administration building has wifi facilities. Library is Sufficiently large and contains all course related books.Lab equipments are extremely good and efficient equipment. We have really helpful and talented faculty who not only help you in academics, but socially too.

Hostels have their own pros and cons: Rooms are sufficiently big to accomodate 3-4 students with each room having attached Toilet/Bathroom.One room accomodates atleast 3 students and atmost 4 students.The hostel facility are easily made available at the time of admission as per the respective procedures.
